The much-awaited comedy film Powder is creating a buzz with the release of its trailer. The film team held a trailer launch event at Orion Mall PVR, where the newly released trailer captured the attention of cinephiles with its brilliant comedic timing and unique plot.
An additional draw for the film is the commentary provided by Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh, adding to its appeal.
Powder tells the story of two young individuals who, under the influence of a mysterious “powder,” aspire to become rich, only to face a series of challenges. Will they overcome these obstacles? Will their dreams come true? All these questions will be answered when the film hits theaters on August 23. It’s safe to say that Powder has already sparked laughter with its teaser, and the comedy is expected to double after the film’s release.
Directed by Janardhan Chikkanna, Powder stars Digant Manchale, Dhanya Ram Kumar, Sharmila Mandre, Anirudh Acharya, Rangayana Raghu, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Ravishankar Gowda, among others, with music composed by Vasuki Vaibhav.
The film’s chief cinematographer is Advaita Gurumurthy, while Vishwas Kashyap handled the production design. Produced by KRG Studios and TVF Motion Pictures, Powder marks the debut collaboration between Karthik Gowda, Yogi G Raj, Vijay Subrahmanyam under the KRG Studios banner, and Arunabh Kumar under the TVF Motion Pictures banner. The film is set for release on August 23.
