The shooting of the women-centric Kannada film Phoenix has been completed. Directed by well-known filmmaker Om Prakash Rao, this marks his 49th directorial venture.
Presented by R. Vasudeva Reddy and produced by Trisha Prakash under the banner of Sriguru Chitralaya, the film has been shot in locations including Bengaluru, Mysuru, Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta, and several regions of North Karnataka. With filming complete, Phoenix has now moved into the post-production stage.
Coming after a long gap, the film has generated considerable anticipation. Om Prakash Rao has written the story and screenplay, while the dialogues are by Deepu P.R. Cinematography is by Ravikumar and editing by Lakshman Reddy. The film features action sequences choreographed by noted stunt director Ravi Varma.
The cast of Phoenix includes Nimika Ratnakar, Bhaskar Shetty, Krithik Logo, Esther Noronha, Rangayana Raghu, Avinash, Chitra Shenoy, Sridhar (ETV), Prasanna, Vinod Kinni, and Meghana S.K.
