Prominent director Jogi Prem and actress-producer Rakshita Prem have embarked on a new journey in the film industry. On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, they officially announced their dream production house, “Phoenix Prems Studios.”
Beyond just producing big-budget films, this banner has been launched with the vision of encouraging youth who possess innovative ideas and extraordinary talent. Through this initiative, the Prem-Rakshita duo aims to give a new direction to the Kannada film industry.
The first film under this new banner will be directed by Manjunath B.S., a protégé trained under Prem’s mentorship. Manjunath, who has been associated with Prem for several years as a co-director and lyricist, is making his directorial debut with this project.
Young actor Raanna, famous for Ek Love Ya, has been cast as the protagonist. The film will be captured through the lens of renowned cinematographer William David.
Young talent Romeo will be composing the music for the film.
Prem shared details about this new venture by releasing a special video on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The film’s title and further details regarding the technical crew will be announced by the team shortly.
