The regional censor board has passed Vinay Rajakumar’s film Pepe with an ‘A’ certificate, and the team is making preparations for an early release.
Following the unprecedented success of Ondu Sarala Premakathe, Pepe, starring Vinay Rajkumar, is a highly anticipated film. The title and teaser of this movie, which has generated significant interest, have now passed the censor.
Vinay Rajkumar, who has entertained Kannada movie lovers with class movies, has taken on a mass avatar for Pepe. Vinay sports a rugged look under the direction of young director Srilesh S. Nair. This film is set in a village backdrop, and Vinay has never portrayed such a role until now.
The film stars Kajal Kunder as the heroine, with Mayur Patel, Yash Shetty, Bala Rajwadi, Medini Kelamane, Aruna Balaraj, and Naveen D. Padil in the cast. Abhishek Kasaragod has handled the cinematography, and Purnachandra Tejaswi has composed the music.
Dr. Ravi Varma, Chetan D’Souza, Different Danny, and Narasimha have directed the action sequences for the film. Pepe was shot in Bangalore, Mysore, Kodagu, and Sakleshpur. Uday Shankar S, under the banner of Uday Cine Venture, Deepa Films, and BM Sriram of Kolar, have invested in the film.
