The much-discussed film “Pen Drive,” directed by Sebastian David, is set to release across Karnataka on July 4. The film features Malashree, popularly known as the Dream Girl, along with “Bigg Boss” fame Tanisha Kuppanda and Kishan in lead roles.
Under the banner of R H Enterprises, the film has been produced by N Hanumantharaju and Lion S Venkatesh. Recently, the audio launch event of “Pen Drive” was held, where the songs penned and composed by Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad were released. Narasimhulu, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, along with office bearers such as Shilpa Srinivas and Kushal, attended the event as chief guests and wished success to the film team. Later, members of the film crew spoke about the project.
Director Sebastian David mentioned that producer Lion Venkatesh was the reason the film “Pen Drive” took off, after which Hanumantharaju joined as co-producer. With the cooperation of the producers and the film crew, the movie has shaped up as planned. All the songs composed by V. Nagendra Prasad have turned out well. He stated that his previous films carried good social messages and the audience can expect the same from “Pen Drive.” He also said that last year the term “Pen Drive” had created much buzz in the state, and ever since they named the film with this title, they received several anonymous calls asking why they had chosen this title. The film, made after crossing several hurdles, will now be released statewide on July 4, he added.
Actress Tanisha Kuppanda said that she plays a strict police officer in the film and that she enjoyed working with a good team. She also mentioned performing in a song sequence with Kishan.
Actor Kishan stated that this is his first film after his appearance in “Bigg Boss” and that the film has come out well. He requested the audience for their support.
Producers Hanumantharaju and Lion S Venkatesh, who thanked the dignitaries and the film crew during the audio launch, announced that “Pen Drive” will release in over 150 theatres across the state through Chandan Films on July 4. They requested the audience to watch and encourage the film.
Music director and lyricist V. Nagendra Prasad, cinematographer P.V.R. Swamy, associate director Nagesh, actor Karisubbu, and Tiger Venkatesh also spoke about “Pen Drive.”
