After tremendous acclaim for director-turned-producer Pawan Wadeyar and debutant director Sagar Puranik’s film ‘Dollu’ gaining recognition at the state, national, and international levels, the duo is joining again for a new film.
Pawan Wadeyar’s first production under his own Wodeyar Movies banner, ‘Dollu,’ had become popular everywhere. The film ‘Dollu’ featured the folk art of Karnataka. Released in 2021, ‘Dollu’ revived the cinematic tradition and shed light on cultural diversity. The reason why so many details are being told about this film is that the couple is reuniting.
This is a movie with a different effort. Although it is a story of North Karnataka, and it will be spread all over the country. This is a new kind of commercial movie directed by Pawan Wadeyar.
Funded by Apeksha Wadeyar and Pawan Wadeyar, the film will also be produced by friends Avinash V Rai and Mohanlal Menon. The film team is planning to reveal the title of the movie which is currently in the pre-production stage.
On the other hand, Pawan Wadeyar has entered Bollywood with his directorial debut. ‘Awasthi vs Awasthi’ stars Parambrata Chatterjee and features Geeta Basra as the female lead. The movie also has a courtroom drama story. But apart from that, director Pawan Wadeyar says that there is another issue here, he is currently busy with the post-production work of the film. It looks like Pawan Wadeyar is making a new wave in Bollywood with this movie. There is also a wonderful story in the movie, and this is a movie of wonderful artists.
