Pavitra is not just a young woman; she is a symbol of women’s strength in today’s changing times. Born in Ramanagara, she has completed her M.Com. Having lost her mother, Pavitra’s father is everything to her. She wants to stand by him as a support. Saving her ailing younger brother is the biggest challenge before her. Pavitra speaks courageously against social injustice. Having come from a village, she aspires to secure a good job in the city. She has immense love for Kannada. Amidst all this, a situation arises where she is expected to marry Manoj, the son of her aunt Chandrika.
In the meantime, Pavitra gets into a conflict at a temple with Radhika, the MD of ‘Amma’s Coffee’ organization. Coincidentally, Pavitra later joins the very same Amma’s company for work. However, the truth unknown to her is that the CEO Dev, whom she hates, and Tilak, whom she likes, are both Radhika’s sons!
Tilak hides his true identity and grows close to Pavitra’s heart. But fate has a different plan. In a shocking twist, Pavitra unexpectedly ends up marrying Tilak’s elder brother, Dev! The male protagonist Devdat Deshmukh is a disciplined man when it comes to work. He completes whatever task he takes up with unwavering determination. His first priority is always work. However, he has immense love for his younger brother Tilak. Dev never breaks any promise he makes for Tilak. Yet, for the sake of that very brother, he ends up breaking the policies he had set for himself. Similarly, his mother Radhika moves ahead with plans to fix his marriage with Namrata. Dev is even ready to marry the girl chosen by his mother.
The serial is being directed by Uttam Madhu, and jointly produced by Mahesh and Uttam Madhu. “Pavitra Bandhana” boasts a big star cast. Amulya Bhardwaj plays Pavitra, Suraj essays the role of Dev, and Yashas appears as Tilak. Anusha Rao plays Radhika, Ruhani Shetty appears as Namrata, while senior actors Vijay Kashi brings life to the character of Govardhan and Ambarish Sarangi portrays the role of Ranga.
