It appears the sacred title ‘Padma Gandhi,’ which has thousands of meanings and 800 years of history, is all set to create records with its release in three languages – Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi.
A professor by profession and sitting MLC, S.R. Leela, on the occasion revealed the profound aspects behind the title Padmagandhi and also shared amazing facts about the lotus flower. It is the flowers and birds that make this universe very beautiful. We have seen ‘Padma’ at various levels. It has a beautiful story. In 2016, I got the idea of making it into a film, and now the requirement, after the film is made, is that it should create its own audience.
The film Padmagandhi, directed by Suchendra Prasad, has now completed all its work and is ready for release. At this stage, in a unique way, the film crew met the media and shared some interesting ideas about the entire film.
The six songs made in Kannada and Sanskrit were screened at the SRV Theater in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, on the 11th of June, 2025.
Director Suchendra Prasad, who has been working hard on this film for years, also shared some information about Padma Gandhi. He talked about the film and the team with the excitement of putting his dream child into the lap of the audience. The shoot for this trilingual film was held at a Gurukul near Ramohalli.
Now, Padmagandhi is complete in every way. It is likely to be released by August. S.R. Leela, who is famous as an MLC, professor, and columnist, has crafted this story after many years of study. Leela’s words were full of appreciation that Suchendra Prasad had also given it a visual form with equal care.
