The versatile director known for his exceptional talents, N Omprakash Rao, made a noteworthy announcement about his return to the director’s chair in August. On October 26th, at the Magadi Road Angala Parameshwari Temple, he officially launched his latest film. The event was graced by the presence of N Someshwar, who lit the lamp, Baby Krishi, who initiated the clapboard, and A M Umesh Reddy, responsible for turning on the camera to mark the auspicious beginning of the film.
Renowned for his work in the Kannada film industry, N Omprakash Rao is back with a significant project titled ‘Phoenix.’ In this venture, he has cast three leading ladies: Nimika Rathnakar, Tanusha Rajputh, and Krithika Logo.
This is an empowering film that places a strong focus on women, as affirmed by Rao himself. ‘Phoenix’ is his 49th directorial endeavor, and it is being produced by Sri Guru Chitralaya Trisha Prakash.
‘Phoenix’ is an action-packed thriller with elements tailored for a wider audience. The three heroines are complemented by Jagadish, Bhaskar Shetty, and Pratap in pivotal roles, while Kinny Vinod plays a special character. Notable actors such as Cockroach Sudhi, Robo Ganesh, Aryan, and others are part of the cast.
The filming is taking place in diverse locations including Bengaluru, Germany, and Austria. The screenplay for this film is penned by director Rao himself, based on a story by Subramani. Ravikumar is responsible for cinematography, Sadhu Kokila for composing the music, Lakshman Reddy for editing, and Vijayan for managing the stunts.
The dialogues for this film are being crafted by the eminent dialogue writer, MS Ramesh.
