Now, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar continues that work. Produced under the PRK Productions banner, “O2” is all set to hit the screens and will be released across the state on April 19.
We got to know Puneeth Rajkumar through Radhakrishna from “Mayabazaar 2016”. Puneeth Rajkumar and Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, who heard the story of this film, came forward to produce it. “O2” is mainly a medical movie. A person on the brink of death due to cardiac arrest can be revived with the “O2” drug.
Shraddha (Aashika Ranganath) is the heroine in our film who makes that new discovery. She faces many challenges while researching the drug “O2”. Apart from this, our film also features love, unexpected twists, and entertainment. This kind of story is rare in Kannada. Directors Prashant Raj and Raghav Nayak express their gratitude to PRK Productions and the entire team for the opportunity. Raghav Nayak also played the lead role in this film.
Producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar said that this is a story Appu heard when he was there; he and I heard this story together. This was the last story Appu heard. “O2” is now ready for release. I liked the song and the climax of the film. We are starting two films from our company soon. Our film will be released on April 19.
Our entire family is a big fan of Rajkumar’s family. I was very happy when I got an opportunity to act in a film produced by Puneeth Rajkumar. Actor Praveen Tej said that I am playing the role of an NRI doctor in this film.
Shraddha is my character’s name. I am also a doctor in this film. Actress Ashika Ranganath says she is happy to act in a PRK Productions film. Music director Vivan Radhakrishna and actor Puneet Ba were present at the media briefing.
