Noted film producer Rockline Venkatesh, along with the prolific director Om Saiprakash and a host of industry veterans, unveiled the teaser of ‘Nirbhaya’ while extending their blessings to the Rethiksha Film banner. This promising project, financially backed by Balakrishna, is under the directorial helm of Raju Kunigal. Fans can anticipate the release of this highly anticipated film in October.
Balakrishna KR, an agriculturist with a noble vision, has embarked on the creation of a socially impactful cinematic endeavor titled ‘Nirbhaya 2.’ Collaborating with a fresh and dynamic team led by director Raju Kunigal, who has penned the compelling story and screenplay, Balakrishna’s aspiration to bring this dream to fruition has been six years in the making.
The down-to-earth producer, Balakrishna, affectionately identifies himself as ‘Raithana Maga from Kunigal.’ When the opportunity arose to champion a cause of social significance, he readily embraced the prospect of bringing this film to life.
Director Raju Kunigal reveals his ambitious plan to produce ‘Nirbhaya 2,’ followed by ‘Nirbhaya 1.’ He underscores the genuine nature of his endeavor, emphasizing that there are no gimmicks involved. His mission is to delve into the root causes of societal crimes, particularly those perpetrated against innocent girls. Drawing inspiration from a true story, the film’s shooting will take place in the scenic surroundings of Tumkuru. Notably, the talented singer Suhana Syed assumes a pivotal role in the film. The auspicious muhurut ceremony was conducted at Tumakuru Sri Saibaba Temple, with MP Basavaraj JS inaugurating the event. Director Raju Kunigal is also providing opportunities to budding talents from Kalpataru Abhinaya Taranga.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast featuring Mimicry Gopi, Hanumanthe Gowda, Rekha Das, and others in significant character roles. Akash Parva has composed the music, impressing everyone with his work on the motion poster showcased during the media meet.
Behind the camera, the skilled Gundulpet Suresh is orchestrating the cinematography. Arjun Krishna assumes a distinctive character with negative shades, while Harish, possessing acting acumen, and Kusuma from Tumakuru play prominent roles. Notably, ‘Nirbhaya 2’ introduces five promising newcomers to the silver screen.
