The trailer of “Nimbiya Banada Myaga”, featuring Shanmukha Govindraj, the grandson (daughter’s son) of legendary actor Dr. Rajkumar, was recently released. Dr. Rajkumar’s daughter and son-in-law—Lakshmi and Govindarju, who are also the parents of lead actor Shanmukha—unveiled the trailer and wished success for their son’s film. Veteran producer S.A. Chinne Gowda, Dr. Rajkumar’s daughter Poornima Ramkumar, and several others were present at the event. Produced by V. Madesh and directed by Ashok Kadaba, the film is set to release on April 4. Following the trailer launch, the film team addressed the media.
“This is my first film as a lead actor,” said Shanmukha. “‘Nimbiya Banada Myaga’ is a beautiful visual poem set in the lush landscapes of Malenadu. It is a story of a mother and son’s bond. Thanks to Ashok Kadaba’s direction, V. Madesh’s production, and the support of the entire team, the film has turned out well. My parents, uncle, aunt, wife, and several family members have joined today’s event. My uncles Shivarajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar, aunts Geetha Shivarajkumar, Mangala Raghavendra Rajkumar, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, and cousin Sriimurali have all wished me well for this film. I am grateful to everyone,” he expressed.
Plot Summary of “Nimbiya Banada Myaga – Page 1” In a remote estate house of Malenadu’s Melbail Dodda Mane, a four-year-old boy named Acchu (Acchanna) goes missing. His mother continues to wait with hope, believing that her son will return one day. 25 years later, Melbail Dodda Mane is filled with joy—because the lost son, Acchanna, has finally returned. What happens next forms the crux of “Nimbiya Banada Myaga – Page 1.” A second part is also planned.
Shanmukha debuts as the lead, with Tanushree playing the female lead. After 25 years, Sunad Raj of “Meghamale” fame returns to the screen. The film features four songs composed by Aaron Karthik, with Palani D. Senapathi providing the background score. Siddu Kanchanahalli’s cinematography, Raviteja’s editing, and Madan Harini’s choreography add to the film’s appeal.
Director Ashok Kadaba confirmed, “Our film is set to release on April 4.” Producer V. Madesh, lead actress Tanushree, actor Sunad Raj, and Sandeep Malani also shared their thoughts about the film.
