“Nice Road” is a familiar name. The new Kannada film, bearing the same title, explores the philosophy of karma and its returns.

With the story, screenplay, and direction by Gopal Halepalya, the trailer release of “Nice Road,” a suspense thriller, was held recently.

The film’s story revolves around karma and religion, emphasizing the idea that it is just to be punished in this life for wrongdoings in the past life. Gopal Halepalya has not only directed but also produced this film under the Punar Geeta Cinemas banner.

Speaking on the occasion, director Gopal mentioned that he had previously directed a movie called “Tandava.” “Nice Road” is a suspense thriller based on the concepts of sin, virtue, and rebirth. While writing this story, he selected senior actor Dharma for the role of the investigation officer, with Jyothi Rai appearing in another lead role. Govindegowda, Manju Nath Rangayana, Manju Krish, Renu Shikari, Prabhu, Sacchi Ravikishore, and many other artists have acted in the film. The shooting took place over 25 days around Bangalore and Kunigal. It is a fictional story with plans to release it in the last week of this month. Gopal clarified that “Nice Road” has nothing to do with the movie; there is a highway in front of the village, and the people say how beautiful that road is, inspiring the film’s title.

Actor Dharma, who has appeared in over 300 films and donned the role of a cop in over 85 films, plays a police officer in “Nice Road.” Dharma, a close relative of rebel star Ambarish, mentioned that in this film, the story itself is the hero. The narrative explores karma in a unique form.

Rajugowda spoke highly of the concept, stating that he liked it very much. He noted that the characters reflect many roles found in everyday life and that this film offers a new dimension to life. He expressed his happiness in supporting the team.

Music director Satish Aryan mentioned that there were initially no songs, but one was added eventually. He found the re-recording process very challenging, emphasizing that the film contains numerous twists and turns and draws from many events in human life.

Others present at the media meet included cinematographer Praveen Shetty and artists Manju Rangayana, Govinde Gowda, Ravikishore, Satchi, Surekha, Manju Krish, Prabhu Raj, and others.
