Nayanthara’s first look as Ganga released from “Toxic

The first look of Nayanthara as Ganga from Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been released by the makers. The film stars Yash in the lead role and is scheduled for a theatrical release on 19 March 2026.


The newly unveiled poster presents Nayanthara’s character in a casino setting, holding a firearm. The visuals introduce her as Ganga, a key character in the film. The reveal is part of the promotional campaign as the film moves closer to release.


The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Speaking about the casting, the director said that the intention was to present Nayanthara in a manner different from her previous roles, and that her personal qualities aligned closely with the character of Ganga during the course of filming.


Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups marks Yash’s return to the big screen following KGF: Chapter 2. Earlier character reveals from the film included Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth.


The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages. The technical team includes Rajeev Ravi as director of photography, Ravi Basrur as music director, Ujwal Kulkarni as editor, and TP Abid as production designer.
Action sequences in the film are choreographed by JJ Perry, along with Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.


The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is slated for release during the festive weekend coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa on 19 March 2026.
