Any film, for that matter, has to build up curiosity right from the moment the title is revealed. Now look at ‘Nasab,’ and the curiosity is for the story of a father, with the son being both the hero and the director.
The Kannada film “Nasab” had its trailer and songs released in a grand ceremony recently. The trailer and songs have been receiving good responses. Shri Kumar Maharaj of Banjara Shakti Peeth, former Vice President Rudrappa M. Lammani, IAS officer Jagdish G., former MLA P. Rajeev, Dr. Shobha G., Shobha T.R., Harish, and other notable guests attended the function as chief guests. They released the trailer and songs and wished success for the film.
Kishore Kumar Naik said, “This is the story of my life. Our parents have fourteen children. Poverty is behind us. Born into such a poor family, a boy from the Banjara community studies well and holds a high post. This is the plot of the film. I have published my life story as ‘Nasab’ in book form. Mitra Harish, who read this, suggested we make it into a movie. Harish is the main reason for making this movie. My son, Keerthi Kumar Naik, has directed the film and also acted as the lead. Shefali Singh Soni is the heroine of this film. B. Jayashree, Padma Vasanthi, Vijay Kashi, Tabala Nani, Nagendra Aras, Shobh Raj, Prakash, Hanumante Gowda, and others are in the film.”
“‘Nasab’ means justice in the Lammani language. Today, many dignitaries and people from our town came and wished our film well, and I immensely thank them,” said Kishore Kumar Naik.
“Thanks to my father, Kishore Kumar Naik, who trusted me and gave me responsibility, and to the dignitaries who attended the ceremony. This is my first film. At this time, I would like to remember the senior artists and technicians who have cooperated in the acting. Please support our film,” said director and hero Keerthi Kumar Naik.
Heroine Shefali Singh Soni, actors Vijay Kashi, Tabala Nani, Nagendra Aras, Prakash, and others gave information about their roles in “Nasab.” The film is produced by Sujata Kishore Naik under the Keerthi Creations banner. Ragam has composed the music for this film.
