The film “Naan Poli” revolves around themes of friendship, love, and motherly sentiment. Featuring Yashwant, Harish, and lead actress Disha Shetty, the film is directed by Yashwant M., who has also written the story and screenplay. With filming and post-production completed, the movie is now gearing up for release.

The lyrical song launch event was held at Dr. Rajkumar Kalabhavan in Basaveshwaranagar. The song, titled “Yaare Nee Yaare”, has lyrics and music composed by Chetan, with Chetan and Anjana P. Rao lending their voices. Harish and Disha Shetty feature in the song’s visuals. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including youth leader Chi. Na. Ramu, who extended his best wishes to the film team.

Speaking on stage, Chi. Na. Ramu said, “My brother Murthy told me that his son is making a film and insisted that I attend. I’m here to support fresh talent and wish them success.”

Actor-director Yashwant shared, “Initially, we planned to make a short film, but it eventually turned into a full-length feature. Keerthivardhan introduced me to this team and guided me in filmmaking. ‘Naan Poli’ is the story of two friends—one wealthy and the other from a middle-class background. A boy who has lost his mother truly understands her value. Amidst all this, there is a love story too. The protagonist fights to preserve his childhood friendship. The film portrays what college students experience and the struggles they face. It’s an emotional entertainer that families can enjoy together.”

Co-star Harish added, “I play a straightforward guy who values friendship deeply. My father, Venkatesh, has supported me immensely in making this film, and I’m grateful to him.”

Cinematographer Keerthivardhan commented, “The film has come out really well, and the climax fight is a major highlight. We shot it near Acharya College in a forest area. Bhargav is a skilled technician, and Devaraj looks stunning in a unique villainous role.”

Music director Chetan, making his debut, said, “This is my first film as a composer. It started as a small project but gradually became something bigger.”

Producer Murthy recalled, “At first, I thought these young people were just experimenting with a film. But midway, the project stalled. I put in all my efforts to ensure they could complete it. Now, they must take it forward on their own.”

With the release of a romantic song, the team is now preparing to launch the remaining songs and the trailer soon. The film also features Mohan Giri as another antagonist, Bhargav as the editor, and Suraj handling the background score.
