On April 24, actor Sarvabhauma Dr. Rajkumar’s 95th birthday will be celebrated. The “My Name Is Raj” (Part 3) program will take place that evening at Choudaiah Memorial Hall. The event is organized by Swami Vivekananda Trust and Team Atreya. This time, under the title “Raj Geeta Namana,” renowned singer Manojavam Atreya will perform popular songs of Dr. Raj.
My family and I are fans of Dr. Rajkumar. Team Atreya organizes a music program called “My Name is Raj” every year to celebrate his birthday. In addition to this, we have been involved in various social work activities. This time, Swami Vivekananda Trust is also supporting us. The “My Name is Raj” program will be held at Choudaiah Memorial Hall in the city on the evening of April 24. Renowned singers, including Channappa Huddar of “Sarigamapa” fame, Prithvi Bhatt, and Maithri Iyer, will perform on that day. More than a dozen internationally renowned instrumental artists will also be present at this event. Dr. Rajkumar has sung over 5000 songs for movies and soundtracks. Dr. Raj was not only a singer but also played various musical instruments. There is no doubt that he was blessed with the talent of Saraswati. His songs such as Manikya Veena, Nadamaya, Megha Mantu Megha, etc., are a testament to his talent. Manojavam Atreya, on behalf of Team Atreya, expressed the desire for more people to attend this program and make it successful.
