“Lip Lock” is a term frequently discussed in the film industry. It has become a fashion and is eagerly anticipated in intimate scenes on the silver screen. Now, “Lip Lock” is also the title of a Kannada film. Muthuraj, the director of “Young Man,” is working on his second film. The film “Lip Lock” was launched at the Bande Mahakali Temple in Bengaluru.
“Lip Lock,” directed by Muthuraj, who previously directed “Young Man,” which was shot in a single take, is set to be an exciting new project. The first shot of the film was initiated by the producer’s sister, Spoorthi Krishnamurthy, while the director’s son, Likhit Gowda, switched on the camera.
Though the title “Lip Lock” might suggest something different, director Muthuraj clarifies that it actually represents a pure love story. It is also a family-oriented film that everyone can watch together without embarrassment. The shooting will take place in Bangalore. The film stars Karan Aryan, Trivikram, and Hemant Kumar, who is also the producer. Deepa, Jagdeesh, Srishti, and Niharika will be featured as the heroines, while Jagappa, Anand, and Karibasava are among the supporting cast. The film will have music direction by Loki Tavasya, cinematography by Venus Nagaraj Murthy, and editing by Satish Chandraiah.
This is Hemant Krishnamurthy’s first film as a producer. The film is produced under the banners of Hemant Cinemas and Pari Movie Makers. Hemant Krishnamurthy mentioned that he is also acting in the lead role, alongside his production duties.
Actor Karan Aryan described his role as a lower-middle-class boy, highlighting its uniqueness. Trivikram, known for his role in the “Padmavati” serial, mentioned that he is acting in this film following his appearance in “Bad Manners.” Actresses Deepa Jagadish, Srishti Hagu, and Niharika also shared details about the characters they are portraying in the film.
