A trailer serves as the initial conversation starter to captivate audiences. This rings true for the much-anticipated ‘Mr. Natwarlal,’ which has been in the making for four years.

What adds to the anticipation is the release date: February 23, 2024. Interestingly, exactly 17 years prior, on February 23, 2007, the Kannada blockbuster ‘Duniya’ hit the screens. TP Siddaraju, the producer of ‘Duniya,’ reminisced about the moment and extended his wishes for similar success to ‘Mr. Natwarlal.’

Leading the star-studded cast and as the producer, Tanush Shivanna shared his journey, marked by innocence and determination. Reflecting on the project’s humble beginnings, Shivanna recounted investing Rs. 4 crore and contemplating if it sufficed. However, an unexpected turn of events, with friends generously contributing Rs. 2 crores, propelled the project forward. Humble yet dedicated, Shivanna expressed gratitude, highlighting ‘Mr. Natwarlal’ as his fourth lead role film, featuring him in eight distinct characters.

The trailer for “Mr. Natwarlal,” helmed by V. Lava and produced by Tanush Shivanna under Tanush Cinemas, was unveiled by Anand Audio. The event saw the presence of esteemed personalities such as Kunigal MLA Dr. Ranganath, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President NM Suresh, producers Ba.Ma.Harish, Shilpa Srinivas, T.P.Siddharaju, Chingari Mahadev, Kushal, B.M.Girish, Distributors Circle President Venkatesh, Director and Lyricist Bahadur Chetan, among others, who extended their well wishes.

Director V. Lava, making his debut, revealed that ‘Mr. Natwarlal’ is a crime thriller and action-packed film, inspired by a real incident in Bangalore. Tanush Shivanna and Sonal Montero lead the cast, alongside Nagabhushan, Kakroj Sudhi, Yash Shetty, Rajesh Nataranga, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Harini Srikanth, Sundarraj, Kantaraju Kaddipudi, and Sujay Shastri. The film boasts music direction by Dharmavish, cinematography by William David, and editing by KM Prakash. Additionally, the trailer hinted at a sequel, adding to the excitement.

Sharing her character’s name, Sonal Montero, the heroine, introduced Nandini. Actors Harani Srikanth, Raghu Ramankoppa, Kakroj Sudhi, Vijay Chendur, along with cinematographer William David, expressed their delight in being part of this project.

With the teaser and songs already garnering praise, the trailer solidifies the anticipation. Bahadur Chetan revealed his contribution of two songs to the film, expressing his enthusiasm for the project.
