The film Mr. and Mrs. Rajahuli revolves around the story of a village youth with a service-oriented mindset. Honna Raj, who previously worked as an assistant for the Yash-starrer Rajahuli, has written the story and screenplay for this film and is also making his directorial debut. Additionally, he has produced the film under the Sri Satyalakshmi Creations banner.
Honna Raj plays the lead role in Mr. and Mrs. Rajahuli, which is set for release. The film’s teaser was launched by Minister H.K. Patil on the occasion of Honna Raj’s birthday.
Speaking at the event, Minister H.K. Patil stated that Honna Raj has invested significant effort and sacrifice in making this film, expressing his wishes for the film’s success and hoping it brings him recognition.
Honna Raj, in his speech, shared his journey, mentioning that he grew up playing in front of Patil’s house. He had pitched the story to the minister, who later introduced him to his friends, providing the necessary support to bring the film to its release stage. He described Mr. and Mrs. Rajahuli as a family entertainer based on a true incident and noted that it has received a U/A certificate from the censor board.
The story follows a protagonist who is a fan of Yash, values friendship deeply, and is always involved in social service. The central question of the film is whether he will get married or not. Honna Raj also mentioned that he had shared details about the film with Yash, who extended his best wishes. He emphasized that he is not the sole producer, as hundreds of people have contributed to making this film possible.
The movie has been shot in Maddur, Huliyaru, Chikkanayakanahalli, and Srirangapatna. Actress Shruthi Babitha Bajari plays the role of a village girl. The film features four songs composed by Vinu Manasu.
The teaser launch event was attended by the film’s producer Manjula Raghavendra, executive producer Sanjay Srinivas, former mayor Huchappa, producers Kalkere Sunil, M. Muniraju, and others. The film’s technical crew includes music by Vinu Manasu, cinematography by Shivaputra, and choreography by Girish. The cast also includes Mysore Manjula, Rekha Das, and others.
