In the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Manmatha,” the protagonist starts off as unintelligent in the first half but undergoes a transformation in the second half, where he confronts his critics.
His main detractors are A Subramani, the protagonist, and two comedy actors, Basavaraj and Surya Kundapura. Taking advantage of the protagonist’s initial naivety, these comedians attempt to profit by sending six different women to seduce him one by one, hoping to change his course of action. However, Subramani remains steadfast in his commitment to his wife, resembling a solid rock in his resolve. The essence of the film “Mr. and Mrs. Manmatha” lies in the fact that the duo’s attempts to alter Subramani’s attitude do not succeed in the end.
Subramani serves as the hero, producer, director, and lyricist of the film. His dream of becoming a film hero dates back to 1994. He has previously appeared in television serials and staged a few successful dramas, such as “Thyagi,” which ran for 156 shows. Now, he is finally realizing his ambition by starring in “Mr. and Mrs. Manmatha,” set to release on October 6th. Subramani has invested approximately Rs. 40 lakhs in this project, with his earnings primarily coming from his previous work in real estate and agriculture.
Shakuntala, the leading female character, was conspicuously absent from the film’s media briefing. The cast also includes Vaishali, a transgender individual who transitioned from male to female, along with Chandana, Roopa, Soori, Basavaraj, Rajanna, and others.
The story for the film was written by Vijay Raj, who also handled the editing. Ravi Sri Maruthi served as the co-director and dialogue writer, while Ravi worked as the cinematographer. Kevin composed the music for four songs, Shivu handled the stunts, and Jayaprakash and Basavaraju choreographed the film. This movie is produced by Manya Shreyasri Creations.
