Actor Ganesh stated, “I grew up learning the language by watching the films of Dr. Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, and Bhojaraja (Srinivasamurthy). If Bhojaraja himself says Ganesh’s language is good, what more award do I need?”

This statement has context. In the film Pinaka, Ganesh and senior actor Srinivasamurthy share screen space. During a recent press conference, Srinivasamurthy praised Ganesh’s command over the language. He said not a single foul word comes in Ganesh’s speech.

Speaking on the subject, Srinivasamurthy said, “This is a film at the level of Mayura and Kavirathna Kalidasa. Pinaka is the name of a lineage. It stands a level above Mayura. Technically, it is coming out richly. After the graphics are added, the film will appear in a different way. Ganesh is portraying his character very well. In one scene, there was a two-page-long dialogue. Ganesh completed that in a single take. Seeing his performance, the team clapped. His knowledge of the language is excellent. There is not a single foul word in his speech.”

Responding to this, Ganesh said, “If I can’t speak my mother tongue well, who else will? This is my language. Every day during the shoot, I would say my dialogues to him and ask if it was okay. He would guide me. It was possible because of his blessings and the way he directed me. I am acting alongside people with vast experience in this film. Whatever good is said about me tomorrow should go to the team, not just to me.”

Calling it a unique experience, Ganesh added, “The entire team is working hard. It’s only because of them that I’m able to move forward. If even one person shows disinterest, the energy drops. If we support one another, the film turns out well. I believe this film will bring out a distinct role in my career.”

Pinaka is being produced under the banner of People Media Factory by T.G. Vishwaprasad. Choreographer Dhananjay is making his directorial debut through this film.
