The second anniversary of MMB Legacy was celebrated with grandeur, drawing attention from prominent members of the film industry.
Navarasan, a multifaceted personality known as a producer, director, actor, and event manager, envisioned MMB Legacy as a dream project that turned two this year. Launched two years ago, MMB Legacy was created as a well-equipped venue specifically to assist in film promotions. Since its inception, the auditorium has hosted nearly 300 events, each dedicated exclusively to cinema. The second anniversary event witnessed a notable turnout of well-known film personalities, all gathered to honor Navarasan’s initiative.
The event was graced by N.M. Suresh, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, actors Chandan Shetty and Shreyas Manju, producers Krishna Sarthak, Govindaraju, Chetan Gowda, and Rajesh, as well as Anand, the owner of G.T. Mall, where the venue is located. Other guests included Bashir from “Jollywood” Studios and well-known promoters Sudhindra Venkatesh, Nagendra, Vijay Kumar, and Kallesh, who all extended their congratulations to Navarasan for his contribution to the film industry.
In a heartfelt address, Navarasan shared insights into his journey. A few years ago, he recounted, he and some friends from the film industry discussed the need for a budget-friendly, high-quality venue specifically for film-related events, especially to ease the burden on producers. This conversation inspired him to create such a space. He approached Anand, the owner of G.T. Mall, and soon obtained a large area on the fourth floor of the mall. Within months, this space was transformed into MMB Legacy—a state-of-the-art facility where teasers, trailers, song releases, and press meets could be conducted at an affordable rate.
Reflecting on MMB Legacy’s journey, Navarasan revealed that although it hasn’t yielded substantial financial profit—he sometimes even covered rent himself—his motivation was always to provide a dedicated venue for the film industry, particularly for producers. Over the past two years, the venue has hosted almost 300 film-related events, a remarkable achievement for Navarasan and his team.
He concluded by expressing his gratitude to producers, directors, artists, industry dignitaries, PR teams, and media friends for their support. Navarasan encouraged more producers to make use of MMB Legacy’s facilities, hoping that their continued patronage would help the auditorium thrive in the future.
With this second anniversary milestone, MMB Legacy has firmly established itself as a vital space for the film industry, fulfilling Navarasan’s dream and enriching the cinema community.
