One of the most talked-about music directors, Midhun Mukundan, has been scaling new heights with each film since his debut in 2016 with “Kahi.” With films like “Srinivasa Kalyana,” “Ondu Motteya Kathe,” “Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha,” “Mahira,” “Lambodara,” “D/O Parvathamma,” “Alidu Ulidavaru,” “Mayabazaar 2016,” “Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana,” “Sakutumba Sametha,” “Dasara,” “Toby,” and “Swathi Muttina Male Haniye,” this talented music director has created a new method for his latest film “Roopantara,” which is hitting the silver screen on July 26.
Midhun Mukundan feels proud of his participation in “Roopantara” because it is the same team that gave him “Ondu Motteya Kathe.” For this film, he has composed a song for each of the five tales that appear in the movie.
For the five tales in “Roopantara,” Midhun Mukundan has composed a song lasting more than five minutes, which is quite special given the current trend of 3 to 4-minute songs.
The song beginning with “Tanna Moola…” will soon be released on social media. This particular song is also the film’s trump card, explaining human experience in a sensitive style. Raj B Shetty has written the lyrics for this song. Currently, the song “Kitthale…” from “Roopantara” has received wide appreciation.
Reflecting on the film “Roopantara,” Midhun Mukundan says that after doing the RR for the film, he has not been able to shake off the film’s impact. When Midhun heard the story six years ago from Mithilesh, it left a deep impression on him. Now, he is very proud and feels special about “Roopantara,” which is soon hitting the silver screen.
Midhun Mukundan has scored music for three songs and a bit in “Roopantara.”
