Devaraj Pujari’s directorial venture, “Matsyagandha,” featuring Pruthvi Ambaar and Prashanth Siddi in a comedic role turned music director, is poised for a theatrical release.

Recently, the film’s team unveiled the dance number “Bhagirathi” from “Matsyagandha,” receiving an outstanding response. Anjali Pandey, along with additional dancers, showcases her talent in this song. Pruthvi Ambaar and Bhajarangi Loki are also featured in this musical spectacle.

Within the first day of its release, the song “Bhagirathi” secured a spot on the YouTube trending list. Surpassing seven lakh views within three days, it quickly reached the impressive milestone of one million views.

Expressing his excitement, Prashant Siddi revealed that his upbringing in a musically rich environment inspired his journey into the world of music. The rhythm ingrained in him since birth, coupled with his mother’s singing, paved the way for his musical career. He anticipates that the songs and background music in “Matsyagandha” will mark a significant milestone in his professional life.

Composed by Prashant Siddi, with lyrics penned by Devraj Pujari, the song “Bhagirathi” is performed by Indu Nagaraj, Prashant Siddi, and their friends. Anjali Pandey, Mai Balukisi, Kulukisidre, Pruthvi Ambaar, and Nagaraj Bynduru feature prominently in the song, choreographed by Dhananjaya Master.

The film is produced by BS Vishwanath under the Sahyadri Productions banner, bringing his expertise from the construction field to the world of cinema. Following the success of “Kinaare,” director Devaraj Poojary returns with “Matsyagandha,” narrating the life story of fishermen. Shot in Honnavara, Kumata, and surrounding areas, the film primarily caters to the Uttar Karnataka region. The re-recording, credited to Prashanth Siddi, is a standout feature of the film, as highlighted by director Devaraj Poojary.

Praveen Prabhu, serving as the cinematographer for his third film, appreciated the use of natural and live locations, contributing to the film’s overall authenticity. Nagaraj assumes the role of the executive producer for the film.
