In a milestone moment for beloved actor Diganth Manchale, the silver screen is set to showcase something truly distinctive with “Marigold,” an action-packed cinematic offering brought to life by Raghuvardhan Productions.
“Marigold” unfolds the tale of four young men venturing out to peddle golden biscuits. Recently, a trailer launch event heralded the impending release of this eagerly awaited film scheduled for April 5.
Notable figures from Bigg Boss, Sangeet Sringeri, and Diganth portray diverse characters alongside Yash Shetty, Cockroach Sudhee, forming the nucleus of the narrative. Actor Sampath Maitreya assumes a distinct role in the ensemble cast. Producer Raghuvardhan remarked, “Marigold” epitomizes the action-thriller genre, shot against the backdrop of Bangalore and Sakleshpur.
Director Raghavendra M. Naik attributes the film’s creation to producers Raghunandan, Diganth, and Vijay Bharamasagar, affirming their seamless collaboration over the years. Diganth expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Raghuvardhan, his director-turned-producer, reflecting on the dedication poured into the project, from enduring challenging shooting conditions to comprehending the significance of multiple takes.
Actress Sangeetha Sringeri reminisced about her school days’ admiration for Diganth, now fulfilled through their professional collaboration. Although initially envisioning a romantic venture, she’s delighted to embrace the action-packed narrative.
