Marali Manasagide, a film featuring a majority of coastal region artists, has been shot extensively in the coastal areas. The grand release of the song “Enidenu Ee Kampana” took place at the Yakshagana Kala Ranga in Udupi.
The movie showcases the natural beauty of coastal landscapes with a modern touch. Arjun Vedant, a lead actor from Puttur, spoke at the event and shared his experience of acting in films across multiple languages, including Tulu, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil. He expressed that Marali Manasagide would be an important milestone in his career. The film features Nireksha Shetty and Smruthi Venkatesh as the female leads.
Nagraj Shankar, originally from Karkala, is credited with the story, screenplay, dialogues, direction, while Mudegowdru Naveen Kumar and Telugu Mallikarjunaappa are the producers. Vinu Manasu has composed the music, Halesh S. handled the cinematography, Harish Komme is responsible for editing, and Hite Manju worked as the choreographer.
Several songs in the movie, including “Edurige Bandare Hridayake Thondare,” “Suli Minchu,” and “Enidenu Ee Kampana,” have already gained attention, garnering interest ahead of the film’s release. The narrative, visuals, and music are expected to draw viewers to the theater, according to film observers, who have expressed confidence in its potential success.
Bhojaraj from Vamanjoor highlighted the importance of the story, describing his role as special because it involves playing two different characters. He mentioned that the film is set to achieve significant success and assured the team of his full support.
Manasi Sudheer, known for her role in Kantara, also spoke at the event. She mentioned that the film would be a family-friendly option, suitable for theater viewing without hesitation, after several years.
Udupi MLA Sri Yash Pal Suvarna, at the event’s inauguration, wished for the film to receive support from the local community. He also noted the success of the songs in the film and extended his complete support to Marali Manasagide. He expressed hope that the film would have a successful 100-day run.
The event was attended by various notable figures, including Bharathi Shetty, Mohini Nayak, Geetanjali M. Suvarna, Rohan, Ashith Subrahmanya, and Vijay Kumar.
