The first look of the new film Manorama, directed by K. Gurusavan, was released on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
Manorama will go on the floors soon. Produced by Jai Bolur and Venkat Suryadeva under the banner of NRI Productions, this film marks the director’s third venture in Kannada cinema.
Manorama is a love story that unfolds over the course of one night. “The story requires the cold atmosphere of a winter night, so we plan to start shooting in November and December. The entire filming will take place in Bangalore, and it’s unique that the film, which has no daytime scenes, will be shot exclusively at night,” says the director.
There are only five characters in the film, including the hero and heroine. Manu UB, who has made his mark in popular Kannada films, plays the lead role. Veteran actor Ramesh Bhat will also have a prominent role. The cast for the heroine and other characters will be announced soon. Manikanth Kadri will compose the music, which includes four songs. Keshav Koteshwar is serving as the executive producer. Director K. Gurusavan appeals for support for this endeavor.
