Actor Manoj, who sought stardom in the film ‘Takkar,’ is once again trying his luck to attain a prominent status in the upcoming movie, ‘Dharani.’ Manoj, a relative of the challenging star Darshan, faced a different fate in ‘Takkar’ despite putting in considerable effort.
In the directorial venture of A Qube Films’ Sudhir Shanubog, titled ‘Dharani,’ Manoj is dedicatedly putting in extra effort. The film revolves around a pure, desi-style subject, with one of its intriguing elements being a hen fight among its owners. The filming of this unique scene took place at Shimoga prison during the first schedule, involving nearly 300 juniors, fighters, and other participants.
The shooting for ‘Dharani’ extends to locations such as Chikkaballapura, Srinivasapura, and Channapattanna. The talkie portions of the film are currently in progress at a specially erected village set by Raghu Mysuru.
Director Sudhir Shanubog emphasizes that besides the captivating hen fight backdrop, the film also addresses key social issues. Shashank Sheshagiri is responsible for the music score, and Arun Suresh serves as the cinematographer.
Notably, theater artists such as Sampath Maitreya, French Biryani Mahantesh, Sathyaraj, and others make their first appearances in this film. Rameeksha Shetty plays the female lead opposite protagonist Manoj in ‘Dharani.’
