When it comes to revealing the trailer for ‘Mandya Haida,’ the producer, S Chandrasekhar, made a strategic decision by choosing Mandya district MLA Ravi Kumar Gowda. The exclusive trailer launch took place at SRV Theater in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
Abhay takes on the lead role in this adventurous love story set in the rustic backdrop of Mandya. Scheduled for a statewide release on the 16th of this month, the event witnessed the presence of Big Boss winner Karthik Mahesh, Mandya MLA Ravikumar Gowda, and producer Puttaraju.
The film narrates the tale of a daring young man ready to go to any lengths to save his love. Abhay, portraying Mandya’s Hyda, shares the screen with female leads Bhumika Bhumesh Gowda. This marks Abhay’s second film, following his debut in “Manasadayi,” and is Chandrasekhar’s fifth directorial venture, featuring his son in a prominent role.
Expressing his thoughts, MLA Ravikumar Gowda stated that Abhay hails from their village, emphasizing the strong cinema and political legacy of Mandya. He believes that if a movie succeeds in Mandya, it has the potential to succeed nationwide. Karthik Mahesh, the recent Big Boss winner, praised Abhay’s potential as a mass hero and conveyed his best wishes to the film crew.
Guest Puttaraju extended his support, expressing hopes for more successful films from the producer, while action director Thriller Manju commended Abhay’s energetic performance in the film.
Chandrasekhar, the producer, expressed gratitude to MLA Ravikumar Gowda and Karthik for gracing the event. Abhay shed light on his character, Shiva, emphasizing the central theme of friendship and the challenges it faces in ‘Mandya Haida.’
The film boasts a total of five songs composed by Surendranath, with Manu Gowda serving as the cinematographer. Director Srikanth, distributor Venkat Gowda, and actress Bhumika Bhumesh shared their insights about the film. Chandrasekhar produces the film under Tejas Creations, and the movie is set to be released by Venkat Gaudru.
