In this cherished memory, the mesmerizing song “Hoo Dumbiyaa Katheya” has arrived from the upcoming movie “Manada Kadalu.”
Eighteen years ago, under the banner of E.K. Entertainers, producer E. Krishnappa and director Yogaraj Bhat created the superhit film Mungaru Male. As the film marks its 18th anniversary this December, the iconic duo reunites for Manada Kadalu. Commemorating the anniversary, the soulful track “Hoo Dumbiyaa Katheya” penned by Yogaraj Bhat and composed by V. Harikrishna has been released via D Beats. Sung by the talented Sanjith Hegde, the first song of Manada Kadalu was unveiled by Harikrishna himself.
Reflecting on the journey, director Yogaraj Bhat shared, “It feels surreal that it’s been 18 years since Mungaru Male. To mark this milestone, we are releasing the first song from Manada Kadalu. The song was born in the producer’s garden and composed in my studio. Harikrishna’s music, Sanjith’s vocals, and Murali’s choreography bring the track alive, with Sumukh and Rashika Shetty beautifully performing in the visuals.”
Producer E. Krishnappa added, “Collaborating with Yogaraj Bhat after 18 years is special. This time, we wanted fresh faces, so we cast Sumukh as the lead alongside Rashika and Anjali. We’ve ensured no compromises in creating a quality film and trust the audience will appreciate it.”
Music composer V. Harikrishna expressed, “It’s been a pleasure working with this passionate team. Yogaraj Bhat’s lyrics and Sanjith’s melodic voice have brought this song to life, and it looks stunning on screen.”
Singer Sanjith Hegde shared his excitement, saying, “Singing Bhat sir’s lyrics with Harikrishna sir’s composition is a dream come true.” He even sang a few lines of the song on stage.
The lead actor Sumukh joked, “People often mistake me and Sanjith for twins! I’m a fan of Bhat sir’s poetry, Harikrishna sir’s music, and Sanjith’s voice. I’m grateful for this opportunity.”
Key team members like co-producer Gangadhar, executive producer Prathap, actresses Anjali Aneesh and Rashika Shetty, veteran actors Dattanna and Shivadhwaj, choreographer Murali, art director Gadda Vijay, and Shailaja Nag of D Beats also shared their insights about the first song from Manada Kadalu.
