Kanasina Rani later transformed as Action Queen Malashree returns with six action extravaganza Kannada film ‘Marakaasthra’. Malashree with action director Thriller Manju exchanged pleasantries on the dais at trailer launch event and was astonished with the looks of Anand Arya who reminds Power Star Puneeth Rajakumar.
Malashree was invited for a special role and it required a 10 days call sheet. But the producers and director impressed a lot with the action mode of Malashree, further increasing her portions and action sequences. Obviously that took a 60 plus days call sheet from Malashree. Looking at the sets Malashree turned emotional on the sets. That is because her husband, a well known producer Ramu was known for such luxurious sets. Thriller Manju, aware of the emotions of Malashree, pacified her on the sets. As a cop in the film Malashree remembered her police role days.
A film by Komala Nataraj and Nataraj ‘Marakasthra’ in the direction of Gurumurthy Sunami is supervised by dance director Dhan Kumar besides giving good tips for the quality of the film.
Handicap director Gurumurthy Sunami took the help at the time of direction from Dhan Kumar, ace dance director. He hails from Ballari district and never knew that he would say action for noted actor Malashree in his life. This film Marakasthra is filled with action, suspense, thrill and devotion towards the country. One of the songs is shot in 32 places. The film is set to go to censor soon, said Gurumurthy.
Nataraj, a talented singer, came to this film team as a singer but he became a producer with his wife Komala. He acted in this film. One of the patriotic songs is shot from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for 32 days and we would have a grand release of it, he says.
Harshika Poonachcha is a crime reporter in this film. Anand Arya was so humble for giving the opportunity, Bharat Singh, Ugram Manju, creative head Dhankumar, Komala Nataraj, executive producer Manjunath, Satish Babu background music provider, cinematographer Arun Suresh were present at the trailer launch event. Miracle Manju is doing music for five songs.
