The Chandanavana action heroine and former “Kanasina Rani” Malashri makes a stunning entry in the Kannada film “Majestic 2,” which holds a place in cinematic history.
The shooting of Ramu’s “Majestic 2” is nearly complete. While Darshan’s blockbuster “Majestic” depicted rowdy activities in the nineties, director Ramu explores how rowdyism persists in the Majestic area today through the story of a boy born and raised in this environment.
Shilpa Srinivas’ son, Bharat, is being introduced to the industry as a new hero with this film. H. Anandappa of Chitradurga is producing this film under Amma Enterprises. The hero introduction song was shot at the Annamma Devi festival on an extravagant set at RS Gowda’s studio.
Malashri, hero Bharat Kumar, and hundreds of dancers performed in this song, choreographed by Tribhuvan Master.
On this occasion, actress Malashri said, “I have a special entry. Director Ramu has worked under our Ramu Films banner. If you see me, you will be very impressed. He came and said, ‘Madam, I want your blessings for my first movie.’ This is an Annamma Devi song. I was happy to dance for this film.”
The film’s producer, H. Anandappa, mentioned that 80% of the film’s shooting has already been completed. “Today, we are shooting the song featuring Bharat and Malashri Madam. We are very proud to have such a great actress in our film. We plan to release the film by the coming Diwali festival,” he said.
Director Ramu stated, “I will shoot this song for three days. After this, a duet song and an action sequence remain. Along with shooting, editing is also underway. The film has turned out better than we expected.”
Bharat expressed his excitement, saying, “I got an opportunity to act with a legendary actress in my first film. I learned a lot from watching Malashri Madam. I play a boy who grew up in Majestic. You can see what Majestic looks like in the film. I prepared extensively for this role.”
Choreographer Tribhuvan mentioned, “I am working on two songs in this film. We have already shot one song. I have done many songs with Malashri and am happy to work with her again.”
In the film, Bharat portrays a fan of the challenging star Darshan. Shooting locations included Ramohalli, HMT, Sakre Adda near Makali, Nisarga House in RT Nagar, and a duet song at Chitradurga’s Murugha Math.
Actress Samhita Vinya plays the female lead in “Majestic 2,” which features an action-based storyline centered around rowdyism. Veteran actress Shruti plays the role of a mother. The film has music directed by Vinu Manasu and cinematography by Venus Murthy.
