With the real-life ‘Pen Drive’ cases reaching a conclusion and the culprits being identified, director Sebastian David and his team have launched their new film, Pen Drive. The popular actress Malashri has joined the cast.
Malashri, often hailed as the ‘queen of dreams,’ is playing the lead role in Pen Drive, directed by Sebastian David and co-starring Tanisha Kuppanda of Bigg Boss fame. The film is produced by N. Hanumantharaju and Lion S. Venkatesh under the RH Enterprises banner.
Malashri, known for her powerful performances in action films like Chamundi and Durgi, and Tanisha Kuppanda, popularly known as ‘Benki’ after her stint in Bigg Boss, are both part of the star-studded cast.
Recently, the Muhurta ceremony for the film was held at the Nimishamba Temple in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Krishne Gowda, president of the Kannada Film Chamber of Commerce, gave the first clap for the film’s initial scene, and senior advocate Revanna Siddaiah switched on the camera.
The film, which features a unique storyline, is directed by Sebastian David, who has previously produced and directed fifteen films. Production is already in full swing in Bangalore. The cast includes Malashri, Tanisha Kuppanda, Radhika Ram, Sanjana Naidu, Archana, Renuka, Geetha, Bhagya, Geetapriya, and Karisubbu. Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad has penned the lyrics and composed the music, while Nagesh is responsible for the dialogues and editing.
