Malaika Vasupal, the sensational actress from the TV serial ‘Hitler Kalyana’ alongside Dilip Raj, known for her big-screen qualities, made a significant leap from her debut film, ‘Upadhyaksha’, where she starred alongside Chikkanna. Her successful debut film has opened doors to numerous consecutive offers.
In her latest venture, ‘Vidyapathi’, Malaika Vasupal portrays the female lead opposite popular character artist Nagabhushan.
Nagabhushan, a scholarly character, has found his match. It is known that Daali Pictures, owned by actor Daali Dhananjaya, has taken up another project following the success of ‘Tagaru Palya’. Once again, Dhananjay and Nagabhushan have teamed up for a film titled ‘Vidyapathi’. The film’s team unveiled the first look during the Sankranti festival and introduced the heroine to the audience today.
In the movie ‘Vidyapathi’, Malaika essays the role of Vidya, portraying a simple and homely girl. Ishaam and Hasim Khan, known for their work in the movie ‘Ikkat’, are handling the action sequences and are also responsible for writing and editing the film.
Nagabhushan will be seen in a different avatar in ‘Vidyapathi’, which features an action-comedy storyline. Lavith is in charge of cinematography, Dosmode is directing the music, Muruli is choreographing, and Sujith Venkataramaiah is penning the lyrics. Arjun Master is in charge of the action sequences for the movie.
Malaika Vasupal, the heroine of ‘Vidyapathi’, is set to commence shooting in March.
