Renowned actress Shruthi takes on the pivotal role of ‘Mari Dasa’s’ mother in the upcoming film, ‘Majestic 2’. It’s important to note that ‘Majestic 2’ is not a sequel to the Kannada cinema classic ‘Majestic’, which catapulted Darshan to stardom.

Director Ramu aims to shed light on the past and present rowdyism in Majestic. Drawing from personal experiences and observations, he crafted the narrative for ‘Majestic’ and now helms its sequel. The auspicious muhurta ceremony for the film took place on Sunday morning at Raghavendra Mutt Raya, Bull Temple Road.
Veteran actress Shruti commenced filming with the inaugural scene, while Nirmala, wife of producer Anandappa, marked the moment with the clapboard. Introducing Bharat, son of esteemed producer and distributor Shilpa Srinivas, in the lead role, the film is being produced by T. Anandappa under Amma Enterprises from Chitradurga.
Expressing his excitement, the producer emphasized their commitment to delivering quality content, citing ongoing production on another project. Director Ramu reminisced about his initial encounter with Majestic in the early 2000s and how it inspired the original film’s storyline. He assured that ‘Majestic 2’ would amplify both quality and content, with Shruti portraying Maridas’s mother in a captivating tale of action and rowdyism.
Bharat, addressing the media, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support and excitement surrounding the film. As the lead character Maridasa, he shared his dedication to the role through thorough preparation.
Samhita Vinya takes on the female lead, with music direction by Vinu Manasu and cinematography by Venus Murthy, promising a cinematic experience that resonates with the spirit of Majestic.
