The film Majestic 2 begins with an introduction to Majestic Bus Station, one of the busiest places in Bengaluru. The opening scenes show how many people arrive in the city in red buses hoping to build a better life. While the city gives opportunities to earn and survive, some people also get pulled into the world of crime and rowdyism. This setting leads into the story of Mari Dasa.

The film starts with Mari Dasa coming out of jail. Soon after his release, some people try to attack him. He fights back and the scenes show that his name already creates fear among many people. After this, the film moves to his past and explains how his life changed.
Mari Dasa was once a sincere student who scored good marks in college. After his father’s death, his mother, played by Shruthi, supports the family by tying flower garlands for a living. Mari Dasa works at a tea stall to help his mother while also continuing his studies through correspondence because she wants him to finish his education.

During his daily tea rounds, he meets Preethi, who works in a clothing store, and the two slowly fall in love. Around the same time, Mari Dasa keeps running into a feared don named Boss Bangari, who keeps teasing and troubling him. The situation becomes serious when Bangari targets Preethi. In anger, Mari Dasa attacks and kills the don. After this incident, he is sent to jail.
When Mari Dasa returns from jail, the problems begin again. Bangari’s gang members, including Balarama and Sakkare, wait for a chance to take revenge. Mari Dasa is now known as a criminal, and he has to deal with the dangerous life that follows.

Bharath Kumar plays Mari Dasa and shows both the innocent student and the angry young man involved in the underworld. Samhita Vinya appears as Preethi. Senior Actors Shruthi brings emotion to the role of the caring mother and Malashree also appears in a special song.
The title reminds viewers of the popular 2002 film Majestic starring Darshan. However, this film does not have any direct connection to that movie even though the name and the character Dasa are mentioned.
Overall, Majestic 2 tells another story set in the Bengaluru underworld. Those who like films in this genre may find it worth watching.
