The Kannada film Maathonda Heluve, which combines a new-age love story with a family-oriented narrative, is set to release across Karnataka on June 13. The film team announced the release date through a specially made video clip.
Said to have gained attention through social media, Maathonda Heluve is directed by Mayur Kaddi, who also plays the lead role. Known for his work as a radio jockey, Mayur Kaddi has directed and acted in this project, which is now ready for release. As part of the announcement strategy, the makers released a video revealing the release date. Promotional activities have now begun ahead of the film’s release.
The cast includes Mayur Kaddi, Apurva Aradhya, Girish Shivanna, P.D. Satish Chandra, Prateek Radder, Chetan Marambeed, Vidyasagar Deekshit, Prateek, Karthik Pattar, Sunil Patri, and Jyothi Puranik.
The story features a protagonist who is a radio jockey from North Karnataka. The female lead arrives in Dharwad from Mysore, and the plot unfolds with the events that follow their meeting. The makers describe it as a different kind of love story that can be watched with the family. Previously, the film’s title was announced through a concept video showing talking theatres, which drew public attention, according to the director and lead actor Mayur Kaddi.
The film is produced under the banner of Maheshwara Motion Pictures, with Prabhu Savanur and Avinash U.S. as co-producers. Parvatesh Pol is the cinematographer, Ullas Kulkarni has composed the music, Abhay Kaddi is the editor, and background score is by Prasanna Kumar M.S.
