Directed by renowned filmmaker Dr. S. Narayan, Maarutha stars Duniya Vijay and Shreyas Manju in lead roles and is produced by K. Manju and Ramesh Yadav under the Esha Productions banner. The film’s first lyrical video, written and composed by S. Narayan and sung by Chandan Shetty, was recently released via Jhankar Music. The song has received a warm response and is trending with high viewership.
At the launch, S. Narayan shared, “The title Maarutha came after Duniya Vijay joined the team. Earlier, we had worked on Chanda. Now, Maarutha. Together, we hope to create a storm of success — a Chanda-Maarutha. The film conveys a strong social message: Parents should be aware of their children’s activities, especially with mobile phones. Spend time with them, understand their dreams — children are your treasure and the nation’s wealth. This message forms the core of the story.”
Duniya Vijay said, “It’s a joy to work with S. Narayan sir, whose discipline is inspirational. I’ve always wanted to act in a family-oriented film under his direction. This is my third film with K. Manju and first with Ramesh Yadav. Shreyas Manju has great potential, and I wish him well.”
Shreyas Manju expressed gratitude, saying, “Working with S. Narayan sir and Duniya Vijay sir has been a valuable learning experience. I’ve received guidance throughout. I hope the support you’ve given me continues with Maarutha.”

The film delivers a timely message and features a stellar cast including Shreyas, Brunda, Tara, Sadhu Kokila, Pramod Shetty, Rangayana Raghu, and Sharath Lohitashwa, with Crazy Star Ravichandran in a special role. Veteran P.K.H. Das has handled cinematography.”
