Madeva, the highly anticipated film featuring Mari Tiger Vinod Prabhakar, has unveiled its teaser, elevating expectations following the earlier release of an intriguing poster.
The teaser reveal event took place at Kalavidhara Bhavana Dr Ambarish Auditorium in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru. Director Tarun Sudhir, along with actors Abhishek Ambarish, Soorya, Dhanveer Gowda, and Zaid Khan, showed support for Vinod Prabhakar’s new venture. The teaser launch also saw the presence of the female lead, Sonal, veteran actress Shruti, and director Naveen Reddy.
Expressing his thoughts post-teaser release, director Tarun Sudhir emphasized Vinod’s strong connection with him. Praising Vinod’s portrayal in a bearded look for Madeva, he commended Vinod’s honesty, dedication, and hard work in his craft. Recognizing the challenges of the genre, Tarun Sudhir anticipates a brilliant on-screen presentation through meticulous work and research.
Actor Abhishek Ambarish, while acknowledging Vinod’s seniority in the industry, lauded the film’s visuals, camerawork, and music, highlighting the uniqueness of the subject.
Vinod Prabhakar shared insights into the film, stating that Madeva explores a distinctive genre, promising a story that pushes boundaries. He expressed gratitude to producer Kesavanna for overcoming numerous challenges to bring the film to fruition and hinted at intriguing revelations during the trailer event.
Actress Sonal, drawing parallels with her previous role in “Robert,” expressed her enjoyment of playing the character of Halli Hudgi in Madeva.
Director Naveen Reddy emphasized the challenging role played by veteran actress Shruti and commended Vinod for carrying the entire film on his shoulders. The film features Achyut Kumar in a guest role and Kitty as the antagonist, showcasing the collaborative effort of the entire team.
The Madeva teaser is infused with mass elements, showcasing Baby Tiger Vinod Prabhakar in a rugged avatar, alongside notable performances by Achyut Kumar and Cockroach Sudhi.
Inspired by real events, the movie’s narrative spans the years 1965, 1980, and 1999. Filming locations include Kanakapur, Channapatnam, Shimoga, Ramoji Film City, and Sheserghatta. Cinematographer Balakrishna Thota, who previously assisted on Baahubali and RRR films, contributes his expertise to Madeva. RR Keshav Devasandra, under the Radhakrishna banner, serves as the film’s producer. The Madeva team is gearing up for a March release, promising an engaging cinematic experience.
