It was a well-designed song release event organized by Naveen Sajju and his team for the film ‘Lo Naveena’. Noted actress Sonal Monteiro invited the heroine of the film, Varsha, at the entrance of Utsav Legacy and brought her onto the dais with music befitting the occasion.

A very well-composed song, “Kai Tolkond Muttangavle Nan Hudugi…”, sung by Naveen Sajju, was released, and the situation of the song made it even more interesting to watch at the well-attended event.

‘Lo Naveena’ is the first film in which popular singer Naveen Sajju has acted as a hero. Earlier, the folk-style song “Konaane” from the film was released and won everyone’s hearts. Recently, the song “Kai Tolkond Muttangavle Nan Hudugi” from ‘Lo Naveena’ was released through Anand Audio. Actress Sonal Monteiro released the song and conveyed her best wishes to the film team.

Former MP Puttaraju, Ramamurthy, Madesh, Sachidanand and other dignitaries were present at the song release event and extended their greetings.

“I am originally from Malavalli. I grew up in a rural environment. Though I was a singer, through this film I have become a hero. The reason for this is our film’s producers, Ben Chikkaswamy and Keerthiswamy. When I went to America for a programme, Madesh Basavaraju introduced me to them. After listening to the rural-flavored story, Ben Chikkaswamy and Keerthiswamy liked it and came forward to produce the film. I am extremely thankful to them. Also, I have composed the music for this film myself. The first song of the film, ‘Konaane’, has already become more popular than expected, crossing over seven million views. Now the second song, ‘Kai Tolkond Muttangavle Nan Hudugi’, has been unveiled.

This song also introduces the heroine. The lyrics are written by Andani. The remaining songs will be released soon, said the film’s hero and music director, Naveen Sajju.

“I have heard and seen ‘God’ in different places. For me, the ‘God and Goddess’ were in Washington. That is the place of stay of Ben Chikkaswamy and Keerthi Swamy,” stated Naveen Sajju.

Producer Ben Chikkaswamy said, I am from Malavalli. I grew up listening to rural folk songs from a young age. Even though I have been living in America for forty years, I still speak Kannada. I eat mudde and uppsaaru, and it feels like a festival for me. I liked the rural-flavored story narrated by Naveen Sajju, and that is why we decided to produce the film.

I have dreamt of becoming an actress since childhood. That dream has now come true. I thank Naveen Sajju, the producers, and the director for giving me this opportunity, said heroine Varsha.

This is my first film as a director. The cooperation of the entire film team has been immense in bringing ‘Lo Naveena’, said director Dhanurdhari Pavan.

Cinematographer Rishikesh, choreographer Vinayak Acharya, lyricist Andani, and other members of the film team were present at the event.
