In Kannada, the saying goes, ‘Hennu Maneya Kannu,’ emphasizing the pivotal role of women in a family. However, in modern times, this traditional concept takes a back seat due to the rise of gender equality.

The film ‘Ladies Bar,’ directed by Muthu AN, sheds light on the consequences when women, instead of nurturing their families, frequent bars to consume alcohol. This movie serves as an eye-opener, revealing the detrimental effects of such behavior.

Produced by D.M.C banner and helmed by T.M. Somaraju and Muthu A.N, “Ladies Bar” unveils its story, screenplay, and direction. The trailer was unveiled by the esteemed actor Dharma Keerthiraj, alongside NM Suresh, President of KFCC, Umesh Banakar, President of KFPA, and noted producer Shilpa Srinivas, endorsing this unique initiative.

Dharma Keerthiraj, praising the trailer, acknowledged Director Muthu’s transition from an associate director to a filmmaker with a societal message. Muthu A.N, emphasizing the film’s story as its hero, asserted that “Ladies Bar” not only contains alcohol-related content but also delivers a compelling message to society.

Director Muthu A.N shared that the film’s teaser, released by Siri Music, has gained popularity, promising ample entertainment. The movie delves into the scenario when women visit a bar, aiming to provide both entertainment and a societal message.

Encouraging support for newcomers in the industry, NM Suresh, President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that sincerity in work leads to success.

Producer Somraju, playing a significant role in the film, highlighted its unique storyline. He stressed that portraying the current societal system through movies aids easy understanding for the audience.

Actor Ganeshrao Kesarakar, portraying a policeman, mentioned showcasing the pros and cons of bars in the film. Actor Harish Raj, who plays the role of Shille, noted Meenakshi’s departure from her usual roles to portray a poignant mother character.

The cast of “Ladies Bar” includes Producer TM Somaraju, Harishraj, Shivani, Meenakshi, Dr. Rajasekhar SN, Ganesh Rao, Aradhya, Prerna, Chaitra, Escort Srinivas, Kempegowda, and others.

The film boasts music direction by Harsha Kagod, cinematography by Venus Murthy, and choreography by Jaggu Master. Dr. Subhashini RS serves as the co-producer of this impactful film.
