Colors Kannada is set to launch a new reality show titled ‘Kwatle Kitchen’, starting June 14. The show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.

Billed as a full-fledged comedy cooking show, ‘Kwatle Kitchen’ features unique pairs. In each pair, one person is skilled in cooking, while the other has little to no knowledge of culinary basics. Five experienced cooks will be assisted by five comic assistants called ‘Kwatles’. The humorous interaction between the cooks and their clueless assistants forms the core entertainment of the show. While the cooks aim to finish their dishes quickly, the ‘Kwatles’ intentionally hinder their tasks, creating chaos and fun.

A distinctive aspect of the show is that while the cooks face elimination rounds, the ‘Kwatles’ do not get eliminated. Every week, the pairs are shuffled, and the cooks continue to deal with new assistants. This setup promises unexpected challenges, such as receiving an assistant who cannot differentiate between garlic and onion, leading to comical situations.

The participating cooks include Bellulli Kabab Chandru, R K Chandan, Dileep Shetty, Raghavendra, Kempamma, Prerana Kambam, Kavya Gowda, Shilpa Kamath, Sharmitha Gowda, and Sonia Ponnamma.

The assistants (Kwatles) are Lag Manju, Dhanraj Achar, Tukali Santosh, Niveditha Gowda, Prashanth, Suraj, Gilli Nata, Soni Mulev, Vani Gowda, and Disha Umesh.

The judging panel comprises actress Shruti and renowned chef Kaushik, who has over 25 years of experience in culinary shows and television. The show will be hosted by Anupama Gowda and Kuri Prathap.

‘Kwatle Kitchen’ promises to blend cooking with humor, offering viewers a mix of culinary tasks and comic entertainment. The premiere episodes will be telecast on June 14 and 15 (Saturday and Sunday) at 9 PM on Colors Kannada.
