Yogaraj Bhat can be considered one of the foremost lyricists who writes songs catering to the tastes of today’s generation. He transforms our everyday conversations into songs that everyone hums. Currently, Yogaraj Bhat has written the song Nam Paiki Obba Hogbuta for the film Kuladalli Keelyavudo, which stars Madenur Manu of Comedy Kiladigalu fame. The music for the film has been composed by Mano Murthy, and the song has been rendered by the renowned singer Anthony Daasan. The song release event was held recently. One special moment was when the lead actor Manu, along with the band set and orchestra artists, released the song while playing the band on stage.
After the release, the film team spoke to the media. “I had told Manu during Comedy Kiladigalu that he is fit not just for TV but also for cinema. The story of this film was co-written by me and Islamuddin. Manu is the perfect lead for this story. Presented by Yogaraj Cinemas, the film is being produced by Santosh and Vidya under the Pearl Cine Creations banner, with direction by Ram Narayan. The music is composed by Mano Murthy. The inspiration for the song released today came from Mano Murthy’s car driver. Though he is no longer with us, the incidents following his demise inspired me to write this song,” said Yogaraj Bhat.
“This is only the second film I’ve scored music for outside my usual genre. Yogaraj Bhat has beautifully written the song released today,” said music director Mano Murthy.
Speaking on the occasion, director Ram Narayan said, “It was my friend Babu who introduced me to this film team. Though Santosh is himself a director, he gave me the opportunity to direct this film, which speaks volumes about his character. All the songs in the film have turned out well, and today the first song has been released.”
Producer Santosh said, “I started this film for Manu, but it has taken off beautifully thanks to Yogaraj Bhat and the hard work of the entire team, making this a well-crafted film.”
“I always wanted to act under a big banner, and that dream has come true with this film. I am thankful to the producers and Yogaraj Bhat for giving me this opportunity. I am originally an orchestra artist, and I play the same role in this film. Yogaraj Bhat has written a meaningful song that resonates with everyone regarding death, with music composed by Mano Murthy, and released through his audio company,” said lead actor Madenur Manu.
“I am also an orchestra artist. The song released today is sure to resonate everywhere this Rajyotsava season. My character in the film is named Tamate, and I am always seen alongside the lead character,” said Tabla Nani.
The cast of the film includes Madenur Manu, Mauna Guddemane, Sharath Lohitashwa, Tabla Nani, Sonal Monteiro, Kari Subbu, Dagan Manju, and Seena, among others.
