The renowned song ‘Kuchiku Kuchiku’ from the Kannada film ‘Diggajaru,’ featuring the iconic duo Dr. Vishnuvardhana and Dr. Ambarish, produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by D Rajendra Babu, has inspired a group of friends from Mysuru. They’ve chosen ‘Kuchuku’ as the title for their film, which revolves around the theme of friendship. The film explores the impact of misunderstandings on genuine friendships.
During the media briefing at Renukamba Digital Theater for the trailer and songs release event, Jayasri Raj and Aradhya, portraying replicas of Dr. Vishnu and Ambarish, recreated the magic of the ‘Kuchuku’ song. KFCC President NM Suresh, KFPA President Umesh Banakar, and veteran producer, exhibitor, and distributor MN Kumar graced the occasion as guests.
Arjun Chauhan and Basavaraj Kumar play pivotal roles as friends in the film, emphasizing that it is a project created by friends for friends. The film, produced by Smt Nagarathnam from her modest savings, is directed by Mysuru Raju, a seasoned dance director in the cinema industry for the past 26 years. The narrative delves into the challenges faced by close friends and how they navigate through crises.
The film was shot in various locations, including Honnavara, Srirangapatna, and the surroundings of Mysuru. Psych Shivaji takes on a formidable villain role, while the cast also includes Priyadarshini, Shanker Ashwath, Bala Rajwadi, Hanumanthe Gowda, BD Jatthi, and others.
Chennai-based Ramnath Raj handled the camera, and AT Ravish contributed five impressive songs with lyrics by Nagarjuna Sharma and Manju Kavi. The trailer and songs event saw the presence of Producer MD Parthasarathy, lawyer Aditi, dance director Jaggu Master, and other dignitaries.
