The first Kannada film of 2024 to successfully complete 50 days in theaters and celebrate the milestone is Krishnam Pranayasakhi. After celebrating 25 days at Prasanna Theater in Bengaluru, the celebration moved to Mysuru, where the first song of the film was initially released as part of the promotional activities. The 50-day event was held at Woodlands Theater, Mysuru, in a joyous atmosphere.
Golden Star Ganesh’s statement, “Cinema theaters are like temples, and audiences are like Gods,” echoed the sentiment once expressed by Sahasasimha Dr. Vishnuvardhana, who said, “Theaters are Temples.”
In the cultural city of Mysuru, during the festive Dussehra season, a beautiful ceremony was organized to mark the occasion. The producers honored the film crew responsible for this success with mementos. Several members of the film crew, including Golden Star Ganesh, spoke on this occasion.
Ganesh remarked, “Cinema theaters are like temples, and the audience members are like gods. If we win the hearts of the audience, we win. It’s no small feat for a film to complete 50 days in theaters, especially in an era where five and seven-day box office runs are common. I dedicate this victory to the Kannada art lovers. I want to thank the director, producer, and the entire team. The first song of the film was released here in Mysuru, and I said at that time, let’s celebrate the fiftieth day here as well.”
Director Srinivasa Raju expressed his happiness, stating, “We are thrilled that Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi has completed 50 days in single-screen theaters, despite the current trend of dwindling audiences in such venues. That’s why we chose to organize the ceremony here. Producer Prashant G. Rudrappa, Golden Star Ganesh, music director Arjun Janya, and cinematographer Venkat Ramaprasad were instrumental in this success. I want to thank them and the entire team.”
Producer Prashant G. Rudrappa added, “What more could a producer ask for than the joy of seeing his film complete 50 days? I want to thank my entire team on this occasion.”
Veteran actor Shashikumar, Giri Shivanna, actress Sharanya Shetty, Dr. V. Nagendraprasad, Different Danny, and executive producer Sarath Bhojaraj also shared in the joy of Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi’s success at the event.
