S.K. Bahubali, known for films like Nan Magale Heroine, is directing a new film starring Krishna Ajay Rao. This untitled project marks the debut production of Kiran under the P.K. Productions banner.
The film’s muhurtha was held at Shri Bande Mahakalamma Temple. Yogaraj Bhat gave the clap for the first shot, and Dinakar Thoogudeepa handled the camera switch-on. Directors M.D. Sridhar, S. Narayan, and Shivatejas were present as chief guests.
Ajay Rao, who has previously appeared as a lover boy, action hero, and heartbroken romantic, will portray a rugged hero in this film.
Director Bahubali stated that this is a family thriller set against a national backdrop, inspired by a real incident. He mentioned that while developing the story, he had Ajay Rao in mind for the lead role, and Ajay agreed immediately after hearing the narration. The character has 4–5 shades, including a bald look. A wig maker from Bombay was called for this purpose, who took four to five hours to fix the wig on Ajay Rao. This look will appear in two to three scenes. The shooting is planned for 60 to 70 days in and around Bangalore, Mysore, and Pondicherry. Malaika T. Vasupal of Upadhyaksha fame plays the female lead.

Ajay Rao said that during the Yuddha Kaanda period, Bahubali narrated this story and he liked it instantly. Dialogues have been written by Yoganand. The actor mentioned that the film deals with the challenges faced while trying to achieve something in fitness and that his role involves a lot of physical transformation. He also said that the producer is confident about the film.
Producer Kiran said that he has known Bahubali for a long time and liked this story among many others narrated by him.
Cinematographer Sujnyan said that the director has prepared the script well. He also mentioned that since Ajay Rao appears in multiple get-ups, the cinematography department will have a lot of work and challenges.
Actors Ugram Manju and dialogue writer Yoganand Madan shared their views on the film.
