The highly anticipated film Pepe, starring Vinay Rajkumar, is set for release after successfully passing the censor board. Vinay Rajkumar, known for his previous soft roles, takes on a mass avatar in this film, showcasing a rugged and intense look.
As the catchy song “Pepe Preset” gains popularity, it has been confirmed that KRG Studios has acquired the distribution rights for Pepe across the state. Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj of KRG are overseeing the film’s distribution.
Pepe marks a departure for Vinay Rajkumar, who has predominantly featured in more subdued roles. In this film, he presents a stark transformation, moving from a class hero to a mass icon, which is sure to captivate audiences.
Srilesh S Nair makes a promising directorial debut with Pepe. The film features Kajal Kunder as the female lead, alongside a talented supporting cast including Mayur Patel, Yash Shetty, Bala Rajwadi, Medini Kelamane, Aruna Balaraj, and Naveen D. Padil. Abhishek G Kasaragod has handled the cinematography, while Purnachandra Tejaswi has composed the music.
The action sequences have been choreographed by renowned stunt directors Dr. Ravi Varma, Chetan D’Souza, Different Danny, and Narasimha. Pepe was filmed in diverse locations including Bangalore, Mysore, Kodagu, and Sakleshpur.
Produced under the banner of Uday Cine Venture and Deepa Films, with investments from Uday Shankar S and BM Sriram from Kolar, Pepe is poised to hit the screens soon.
