It is rare to find an album song that focuses on societal good by showcasing morals and reality. The song “Koti Koti Rokka Galasi” was released in the presence of many dignitaries, including Vrikshamate Salumara Thimmakka, on Tuesday morning at a crowded gathering at Renukamba Digital Theater.
This song is written by Manjukavi and sung by Hoodi Chinni. HM Ramachandra (Hoodi Chinni), known for his social work and as the founder of Bharatiya Seva Samiti, has now become a singer. Manjukavi is the lyricist for the social message song “Koti Koti Rokka Galasi,” which he also composed.
Many dignitaries, including Sri Mahadev Swamiji, Vrikshamate Salumarada Thimmakka, retired Lokayukta Santosh Hegde, Chetan Ahimsa, Director Rishi, and Bharatiya Seva Samiti State President Amar, released the song and celebrated Hoodi Chinni’s singing, appreciating his philanthropic work.
The lyrics of this song align with Hoodi Chinni’s real-life qualities, making him a fitting choice to sing it. Initially, he was reluctant to sing, but after some practice, he agreed and delivered the song beautifully. You can enjoy listening to this song on the MK Audio YouTube channel, said Manjukavi, who wrote and composed the music.
Hoodi Chinni initially did not agree to sing the song because he is not an experienced singer. However, the meaningful lyrics inspired him to take on the challenge. He emphasized the importance of remaining genuine and urged everyone to donate a portion of their earnings to the needy. He also mentioned that his next song would address the caste system, focusing on ‘Manaviyathe’ (humanity) and aiming to eliminate caste divisions in society.
Santosh Hegde praised the song for its beauty and its message of ‘Trupthi and Manaviyathe.’ Mahadeva Swamy, Chetan Ahimsa, Amar Swamy Kolar, Bhagyasri, Hoodi Krishna, Manjula, and others were present on the stage.
Manjukavi, the lyricist, shared that he wrote the lyrics inspired by the magnanimous personality of Ramachandra Hoodi in real life. He insisted that Hoodi Chinni sing the song, and after three days of practice, Hoodi Chinni delivered it perfectly in one take at the recording studio.
