The teaser for Kothalavadi, produced by Yash’s mother under PA Productions, was released today at Orion Mall, Bangalore. Actor Sharan, the special guest, unveiled the teaser and conveyed his wishes for the film’s success.
Sharan said, “This is the start of something new. Our secret to success is unity. On the faces of everyone involved, there is curiosity, positive energy, devotion, warmth, and love — that’s enough for success. I thank Amma for inviting me. The happiness of launching a dream that has been years in the making is visible on the team’s faces. I wish the entire team great success.”
Producer Pushpa Arun Kumar shared her vision: “In cinema, work should speak, not words. Since this is Yash’s home production, the entire country will watch it, so it must be done with full responsibility. We will provide everything the film asks for, whatever the cost. We believe in giving quality, not cheating the story, even if it costs 10 rupees more. The story must speak for itself. We will wait for the audience’s response.”
Arun Kumar, Yash’s father, stood firmly behind his wife’s dream: “If you are happy, do it, dear. I am a farmer — do whatever you want.”
Actor Pruthvi Ambaar said, “I have known Raju sir from the start. This is the second story he has given me. I wanted to portray a village-rooted, innocent, yet powerful character. Everyone performed well. After filming, I didn’t even know who the producer was until we met Ma’am. She believes in supporting talent without background and has given everything the story demanded. Everyone worked on this film with great love.”
Director Sriraj thanked the producers for the opportunity: “I’m grateful to Appaji and Amma for trusting me. Amma was critical but fair — when I first narrated the story, she was skeptical but later gave her full support. It took me eight months to write. After she liked the story, this journey began.”

Music composer Vikas Vasishta and background score artist Abhinandan Kashyap are teaser highlights. The film is Sriraj’s debut as an independent director, mentored by senior directors KV Raju and Ravishreevatsa.
Alongside Pruthvi Ambaar, the cast includes television actress Kavya Shaiva, Gopalakrishna Deshpande and Rajesh Nataranga. PA Productions was founded by Pushpa Arun Kumar to provide opportunities to new talent, reflected in the crew that includes newcomers.
Technical crew includes cinematographer Kartik S, editor Ramisetty Pavan, dialogue writer Raghu Niduvalli, and literary contributors Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad, Kinnal Raj, Pramod Maravante, and Gaus Pir.
